How to Connect HubSpot to Reepl

Learn how to connect HubSpot CRM to Reepl for automatic contact syncing and LinkedIn activity logging

Connecting HubSpot lets Reepl automatically sync LinkedIn contacts to your CRM, log messages and comments as notes, sync your Reepl notes, and keep contact emails up to date.

HubSpot integration requires a Premium plan or above.

Connect your HubSpot account

Open the Integrations page

Navigate to Settings > Integrations or go directly to /settings/integrations. Find HubSpot in the available integrations.

Start the connection

Click the HubSpot card, then click Connect. You are redirected to HubSpot's OAuth authorization page.

Authorize Reepl in HubSpot

Sign in to your HubSpot account and approve the permissions Reepl requests. After authorization, you are redirected back to Reepl at the integration details page.

Configure permissions

Toggle the permissions you want to enable:

  • Auto Sync Contacts -- Automatically create HubSpot contacts when you save LinkedIn profiles to a list
  • Log Messages -- Log LinkedIn DMs as notes on HubSpot contacts
  • Log Comments -- Log LinkedIn comments as notes on HubSpot contacts
  • Read Contacts -- Pull existing contacts from HubSpot into Reepl
  • Read Conversations -- Access HubSpot conversation data
  • Write Activities -- Create activity records in HubSpot
  • Write Notes -- Sync notes you add to Reepl contacts into HubSpot

Select a board type

Choose the Board Type from the dropdown to determine how Reepl organizes synced data in HubSpot.

Your HubSpot connection is now active. Reepl syncs data according to the permissions you enabled. You can adjust permissions at any time from /settings/integrations/hubspot.

What gets synced

Once connected, Reepl automatically syncs your LinkedIn activity to HubSpot based on the permissions you enabled. Everything below happens in the background -- no manual steps required.

Contact sync

When you save a LinkedIn profile to a list in Reepl, a HubSpot contact is created or updated with:

  • First and last name
  • Job title and company
  • Location
  • LinkedIn profile URL
  • Reepl Profile ID (used to link contacts across both platforms)

Contacts are deduplicated using the Reepl Profile ID, so saving the same profile again updates the existing contact rather than creating a duplicate.

Contact sync requires Auto Sync Contacts to be enabled.

Comment logging

When you comment on a LinkedIn post using the Reepl Chrome extension, a note is automatically created on the post author's HubSpot contact record with:

  • The comment text
  • Post and comment identifiers
  • Timestamp

This lets you track every engagement touchpoint directly in your CRM.

The post author must already exist as a contact in HubSpot for the comment to be logged. Save the profile to a Reepl list first to create the HubSpot contact.

Message logging

When you send a LinkedIn direct message through Reepl, a note is created on the recipient's HubSpot contact record with the message content, sender info, and timestamp.

Saved post logging

When you save a LinkedIn post in Reepl, a note is created on the post author's HubSpot contact with:

  • Post content (up to 1,000 characters)
  • Post URL
  • Published date

Email sync

When you unlock an email address for a LinkedIn profile using Reepl's email finder, the email is automatically added to the matching HubSpot contact.

Notes sync

Notes you add to contacts in Reepl are synced to HubSpot. Updates and deletions are also synced, so both platforms stay in sync.
