How to Write and Publish LinkedIn Posts
Learn how to create, preview, and publish LinkedIn posts using Reepl's content creator
Reepl's content creator lets you write LinkedIn posts from scratch or generate them from articles, YouTube videos, and uploaded documents. You can preview your post across devices, save it as a draft, schedule it for later, or publish immediately.
You need a connected LinkedIn account to publish or schedule posts. Go to Settings > Connected Accounts to link your profile.
Open the content creator
Navigate to Content Creator from the left sidebar, or go directly to Content Creator in the app. You land on the Compose screen.
Choose a content source
Select one of the source cards:
- Write with AI -- Let the AI Copilot help you draft a post
- From Articles -- Turn any web article into a LinkedIn post
- From YouTube -- Create a post from a YouTube video
- From Uploads -- Upload a PDF or document to generate a post
If you want to write manually without AI, select Write with AI and type directly in the editor.
Write your post content
Use the editor to compose your post. The editor supports rich text formatting, line breaks, and Unicode characters. Posts are limited to 3,000 characters.
The Editor and Preview tabs at the top let you switch between editing and previewing your post.
Preview your post
Click the Preview tab to see how your post looks on LinkedIn. Use the Mobile, Tablet, and Desktop buttons to check the layout across screen sizes.
Publish, schedule, or save your post
Select one of the action buttons at the bottom of the editor:
- Save as Draft -- Save your work without publishing. Find it later in the Drafts tab.
- Schedule Manually -- Open a date and time picker to schedule your post for a future date (up to 90 days out).
- Add to Queue -- Add the post to your scheduling queue.
- Post Now -- Publish the post to LinkedIn immediately.
- Submit for Approval -- Send the post for review (visible when approval workflows are enabled).
Your post appears in the corresponding tab: Drafts for saved drafts, Content Calendar for scheduled posts, or Published Posts once it goes live.
LinkedIn rejects duplicate content. If you try to publish a post with identical text to a recent post, it will fail.
