How to Use the Extension Home Tab
Learn how to read your activity stats, track your streak, and complete the onboarding checklist from the Reepl Chrome extension Home tab
The Home tab is the main dashboard of the Reepl sidebar. It shows your current activity streak, today's posting and commenting counts against your daily targets, weekly progress bars, a day-by-day activity timeline, and a getting-started checklist. All of this is available from any LinkedIn page without opening the Reepl web app.
You need the Reepl Chrome extension installed and logged in. See Install Chrome Extension for setup instructions.
What you will see on the Home tab
Streak counter
The top row shows your current streak -- the number of consecutive days you have been active on LinkedIn through Reepl. A Manage Goals link in the same row opens your goal settings in the web app, where you can adjust your daily targets for posts and comments.
Daily Scoreboard
The Daily Scoreboard section shows two stat cards:
- Comments -- the number of AI-generated comments you have written today, shown as
current / target. - Posts -- the number of posts you have published today, shown as
current / target.
Counts reset at midnight UTC each day.
Weekly Stats
The Weekly Stats section shows two progress bars:
- Posts this week -- your weekly post count against your weekly target.
- Comments this week -- your weekly comment count against your weekly target.
A week picker control (left and right arrows with the date range label between them) lets you scroll back through previous weeks to review historical activity. The right arrow is disabled when you are viewing the current week.
Weekly Timeline
The Weekly Timeline shows a row of seven day circles labeled S, M, T, W, T, F, S. Each circle reflects that day's activity:
- Filled circle -- you published at least one post that day.
- Outlined circle -- you wrote at least one comment that day (but no post).
- Muted circle -- no activity recorded.
Hover over any circle to see a tooltip with the exact post and comment counts for that date.
Get Started checklist
The Get Started section lists onboarding tasks. Each item has a checkbox that fills automatically as you complete it. The items are:

| Connect LinkedIn | Opens the Integrations settings in the web app |
| Schedule or publish a post | Opens the Publish tab in the sidebar |
| Use Andy to generate a post | Opens the Andy (AI chat) tab in the sidebar |
| Connect Claude or ChatGPT | Opens the MCP settings in the web app |
| Generate a comment or reply | Opens your LinkedIn feed in a new tab |
| Connect X | Opens the Integrations settings in the web app |
Completed items are shown with a strikethrough and a filled check circle.
Navigate to the Home tab
Open the Reepl sidebar
Click the Reepl icon on the right edge of any LinkedIn page. The sidebar opens on the Home tab by default.
Switch to Home if needed
If you are on another tab, click Home in the bottom navigation bar (the house icon, leftmost tab). The Home tab loads with your current stats.
Your streak and activity data refresh automatically as you post and comment through Reepl. If counts appear stale, the sidebar will sync on the next user action.
The Manage Goals link and checklist items that open the web app (such as LinkedIn integrations and MCP settings) require you to be logged in to app.reepl.io. The Home tab itself and all activity data are available to all users, including free accounts.
