How to Use the AI Chat Assistant
Learn how to chat with Reepl AI directly on LinkedIn using the Chrome extension sidebar
The AI Chat Assistant lets you have conversations with Reepl AI without leaving LinkedIn. Ask questions about profiles, get help writing messages, prepare for interviews, or generate content ideas -- all from the extension sidebar.
You need the Reepl Chrome extension installed and active credits on your account. See Install Chrome Extension for setup instructions.
Open the AI Chat tab
Click the AI Chat icon in the sidebar navigation bar. This is the first tab in the sidebar and opens by default.
Start a conversation
Type your question or request in the chat input at the bottom of the panel. You can also select one of the default suggestion prompts:
- Profile Optimization -- Get tips to improve your LinkedIn profile
- Personalized connection messages -- Draft connection requests
- Profile persona generation -- Create a persona based on a profile
- Interview Preparation -- Prepare for an interview with a contact
- Profile summary generation -- Generate a summary for your profile
Upload files for context
Click the attachment icon to upload files that give the AI additional context. Supported file types include articles, PDFs, images, and documents.
Review the AI response
The AI generates a response based on your prompt and any uploaded context. Continue the conversation by typing follow-up questions in the input field.
Start a new conversation
Click the menu icon and select New Chat to begin a fresh session, or Clear Chat to remove the current conversation history.
Your chat sessions are saved automatically and can be accessed later from the History tab.
