How to Add Personalised X Trends to Signals
Learn how to add Personalised Trends from your X (Twitter) account as a Signals source in Reepl
Personalised X Trends pulls the trends X surfaces specifically for your account into your Signals inbox. It joins Reddit, YouTube, Google Trends, RSS, and Twitter search as another source Reepl scans daily for ideas relevant to you.
Before you start: Personalised X Trends requires both a Reepl Premium plan and an active X Premium subscription on the X account you have connected to Reepl. Trends are personalised by X, so the source has to read them through your account. If you upgraded to X Premium after connecting your X account, disconnect and reconnect it in Settings > Integrations so Reepl can detect your subscription.
Connect your X account
If you haven't already, connect your X account first. See Connect Your Twitter/X Account. Reepl checks your Premium status from this connection.
Open your Signal Profile
From the left sidebar, click Signals, then click Edit profile (or open Signals settings). Walk through the setup until you reach the Sources step.
Enable Personalised X Trends
In the sources list, find Personalised X Trends (marked with the X icon and an X Premium only label). Click to toggle it on. If your X account isn't Premium, the option stays disabled with a note explaining why.
Save your sources
Continue through the setup and click Save on the final step. Reepl will start including Personalised X Trends in your daily signals fetch.
What success looks like
The next morning's Signals run includes trends from your personalised X feed. Each signal links back to the relevant X search or trend page so you can read the context. Personalised X Trends signals appear in the Twitter / X source tab alongside your search-based Twitter signals, and in the All tab mixed with everything else.
Tips
- Combine with Twitter search. Personalised X Trends and the regular Twitter search source complement each other — trends surface broad momentum, search surfaces specific conversations on your keywords.
- Use the avoid-topics field. If your personalised trends regularly include topics you don't want to write about, add them to the Topics to avoid field in your Signal Profile to filter them out.
- Re-check after subscribing. If you upgrade to X Premium after connecting, disconnect and reconnect your X account in Settings > Integrations so Reepl picks up the new Premium status.
