How to Train the AI on Your Writing Style

Learn how to train Reepl's AI using your writing samples, documents, and guidelines so it generates content that sounds like you

Model Training teaches Reepl's AI how you write by analyzing your published posts, uploaded documents, and written guidelines. The AI then references these examples when generating posts, comments, and messages, producing content that matches your actual writing style.

Model Training requires a Pro plan or above with an active subscription (not a trial). File upload limits: Pro = 50 files, Premium = 100 files.

Open Model Training

Navigate to Settings > Model Training or go directly to /settings/model-training.

Select a content category

Choose the tab for the type of content you want to train:

  • Writing -- Train AI for post generation
  • Comments -- Train AI for comment replies
  • Messages -- Train AI for direct messages

Each category is trained independently, so you can have different styles for posts, comments, and messages.

Add writing guidelines (optional)

Enter free-form text in the Writing Guidelines textarea describing your preferred tone, style, and content preferences. Click Save to store the guidelines. These are used as plain-text instructions alongside your training data.

Add training examples

Choose one or both methods to provide writing samples:

From published posts:

  1. Click + Select to open the post selection modal
  2. Browse your posts organized by collection
  3. Click posts to toggle selection
  4. Click Confirm Selection to add them as training data

From file uploads:

  1. Switch to the Files tab
  2. Drag and drop files or click to browse
  3. Supported formats: PDF, DOCX, TXT

Train the model

Click Train Model. The button changes to Training... while Reepl generates embeddings from your examples. When complete, you see a success message with the number of training examples processed.

Check training status

The Status section shows:

  • Status badge -- Ready (green), Training (spinning), or Idle (gray)
  • Training Examples -- Number of vectors stored
  • Last Trained -- Timestamp of the most recent training
  • Model ID -- Your unique vector index key

When generating content, Reepl searches your trained data for the 3 most similar examples and includes them as reference, producing output that closely matches your writing style.

Managing trained items

Your trained items appear in a list showing author and preview for posts, or filename for documents. Click the delete button on any item to remove it from the training data.

  • Reset clears unsaved selections without deleting trained data
  • Train Model re-processes all current training data

Comments only: Enable the Beat AI Detection toggle to make generated comments sound more human. This uses 2x credits per generation.
