How to Use Activity Heatmaps
Learn how to track your LinkedIn activity patterns with activity heatmaps in Reepl
The Activity Heatmaps page provides a year-view calendar showing your daily LinkedIn activity. Each day is color-coded by activity volume, making it easy to spot patterns, track consistency, and identify gaps in your posting and engagement habits.
Activity Heatmaps require a paid plan (Pro or higher). Free plan users see an "Unlock Your Performance Dashboard" prompt.
Open the Analytics page
Navigate to Analytics from the left sidebar, or go directly to Analytics in the app. The heatmap calendar loads for the current year.
Select a year
Use the year selector at the top of the page to switch between available years (2024 through the current year).
Read the heatmap
Each cell represents one day. Hover over any cell to see a tooltip with the total activity count and a breakdown by metric type:
- Posts (emerald green) -- LinkedIn posts published
- Comments (blue) -- Comments written
- Messages (purple) -- Direct messages sent
- AI Comments (cyan) -- AI-generated comments
- AI Messages (pink) -- AI-generated messages
Darker cells indicate higher activity. Empty or lightly colored cells indicate low or no activity for that day.
Use the heatmap to identify your most active periods and spot weeks where activity dropped off. Consistent daily activity is one of the strongest signals for LinkedIn algorithm visibility.
