How to Use Templates
Learn how to fill in template placeholders and turn templates into polished LinkedIn posts in Reepl
Templates give you a proven post structure with placeholders you fill in with your own content. The Template Wizard guides you through each placeholder, shows a live preview, and lets you send the finished post to the AI Copilot for further polishing.
Open the Template Library
Navigate to Templates from the left sidebar. Browse the Viral Templates or Personal Templates tab to find a template you want to use.
Select a template
Click on a template card to open the Template Wizard. You see a live preview of the template with all placeholders highlighted.
Fill in the placeholders
Each placeholder appears in the format [Placeholder Text] (for example, [Your Achievement] or [Industry Name]). The wizard generates a question and hint for each placeholder to guide your input.
- Type your content for the current placeholder
- Use the Next and Previous buttons to navigate between placeholders
- The live preview updates as you type
Complete the template
After filling in all placeholders, review the final preview. You have two options:
- Use as-is -- The filled content is passed directly to the content creator
- Send to Copilot -- Pass the content to the AI Copilot for additional polishing and refinement
Your completed post appears in the content creator, ready to edit further, save as a draft, schedule, or publish.
