Onboarding Guide

Learn how to complete the Reepl onboarding checklist and set up your workspace

After signing up, Reepl walks you through a guided onboarding checklist to get your workspace ready. Completing these steps ensures you can publish content, use AI features, and manage contacts from day one.

The checklist appears at /onboarding after signup and also shows as the Get Started Checklist widget on your dashboard until all steps are complete.

Onboarding Steps

Download the Chrome extension

Install the Reepl Chrome extension to unlock AI writing assistance, contact saving, and content tools directly on LinkedIn. Click the Download Extension link in the checklist to go to the extension download page, or install from the Chrome Web Store.

See Install Chrome Extension for detailed instructions.

Connect your LinkedIn account

Link your LinkedIn profile to Reepl so you can publish and schedule posts. Click Connect LinkedIn to start the OAuth flow. After authorizing, your profile appears in the sidebar on the dashboard.

Add your first contact

Save a LinkedIn contact to your Reepl CRM. You can do this from the Chrome extension while browsing LinkedIn profiles, or from the Contacts page in the web app. This enables relationship tracking and engagement scoring.

Create your first post

Open the content creator and write a LinkedIn post. You can draft it manually, use AI assistance, or generate it from an article or video. See First Post Walkthrough for a step-by-step guide.

Configure AI preferences

Set up your AI voice profile and preferred model. Go to Settings > AI Preferences to choose your tone, writing style, and default AI model. This ensures AI-generated content matches your personal brand.

Tracking Your Progress

The Get Started Checklist on the dashboard shows a progress bar reflecting how many steps you have completed. Each completed step gets a checkmark.

Once all steps are done, the checklist disappears from the dashboard automatically.

You can complete the onboarding steps in any order. The checklist is a guide, not a strict sequence.
