How to Create and Publish a Tweet

Learn how to compose and publish a tweet to Twitter/X from Reepl's content creator

Reepl's content creator lets you write, preview, and publish tweets to your connected Twitter/X account without leaving the app. You get a rich editor with emoji support, media uploads, and a live preview showing exactly how your tweet will appear on X.

Before you start: You need a connected Twitter/X account. See Connect Your Twitter/X Account if you have not done this yet.

Open the Content Creator

From the left sidebar, click Content Creator.

Select Twitter / X as the platform

Use the platform selector at the top of the composer to switch to Twitter / X. The editor updates to show the 280-character limit and Twitter-specific options.

Write your tweet

Type your content in the editor. The character counter appears when you have 20 or fewer characters remaining:

  • Green -- within the limit
  • Yellow -- 20 characters or fewer remaining
  • Red -- over the 280-character limit (you cannot publish until you trim the text)

Use the toolbar to:

  • Add emojis via the emoji picker
  • Attach up to 4 images or videos per tweet

Preview your tweet

The live preview panel on the right shows how your tweet will look on X, including your profile picture, handle, and any attached media.

Publish

Click Post to publish the tweet immediately. Reepl reserves credits before posting and confirms once the tweet is live.

What success looks like

After publishing, the tweet appears in your Published tab within the content creator. If you attached a video, the post briefly shows a "Publishing" status while X processes the video, then updates to "Published" automatically.

Tips

  • Use the preview. The live preview catches formatting issues before your audience sees them. Check that mentions, links, and media all render correctly.
  • Add a quote tweet. You can reference another tweet by providing its tweet ID. The quoted tweet appears embedded in your post.
  • Attach media strategically. Tweets with images or video consistently get higher engagement. You can attach up to 4 images or 1 video per tweet.
