How to Schedule Twitter Posts

Learn how to schedule tweets and threads on Twitter/X using Reepl's content scheduler

Reepl lets you schedule tweets and threads to publish at a specific date and time. This is useful for posting during peak engagement hours, batching your content creation, or coordinating posts across time zones.

Before you start: You need a connected Twitter/X account. See Connect Your Twitter/X Account if you have not done this yet.

Compose your tweet or thread

Open Content Creator, select Twitter / X, and write your content. You can schedule single tweets, threads, and polls.

Open the schedule dialog

Instead of clicking Post, click the Schedule button (clock icon) next to it. A dialog opens with a date and time picker.

Pick a date and time

Select the date and time you want the tweet to publish. The time is displayed in your local timezone.

Confirm the schedule

Click Schedule in the dialog to confirm. A toast notification appears confirming the scheduled time (formatted as e.g. "Jan 15 at 3:30 PM").

What success looks like

Your scheduled post appears in the Scheduled tab of the content creator with the date, time, and a "Scheduled" status badge. At the scheduled time, Reepl publishes the tweet automatically and the status changes to "Published".

Managing scheduled posts

  • Edit -- click a scheduled post to reopen it in the editor, make changes, and reschedule
  • Delete -- remove a scheduled post before it publishes to cancel it
  • View status -- scheduled posts update to "Published" or "Failed" after the scheduled time passes

If your Twitter/X account becomes disconnected before the scheduled time, the post will fail. Make sure your account stays connected.

Tips

  • Batch your content. Write multiple tweets in one session and schedule them across the week to maintain a consistent posting cadence.
  • Schedule threads for high-traffic times. Threads perform best when published during peak hours for your audience. Check your analytics to find optimal times.
  • Leave a buffer. Schedule posts at least a few minutes in the future. Posts scheduled for the immediate next minute may not process in time.
