How to Format LinkedIn Posts
Learn how to format and enhance your LinkedIn posts using Reepl's AI Post Formatter
The AI Post Formatter takes your existing text and rewrites it into an engaging, well-structured LinkedIn post. Paste in a rough draft or draw inspiration from multiple sources, and the AI generates a polished version with proper formatting.
Open the Post Formatter
Navigate to Creation Tools > Post Formatting from the left sidebar, or go directly to Post Formatter in the app.
Choose a starting point
Use the toggle at the top to select your mode:
- Post Editor -- Paste or type your own text
- Template -- Start from a pre-built template
- Inspiration -- Draw from external sources
If using Inspiration, select a source: Ideas (freeform), Saved Posts, Article/Blog, YouTube, Web extraction, or Device upload (JPG/PDF, max 10MB).
Enter your content
In the Post Editor mode, paste your text into the editor (placeholder: "Paste your post here..."). The character count displays below the input.
A minimum of 50 characters is required to enable the AI rewrite. The maximum post length is 3,000 characters.
Generate the formatted post
Click Generate Post. The AI rewrites your content into a formatted LinkedIn post optimized for engagement.

Refine or copy
- Click Regenerate Post to get an alternative version
- Click Copy text to copy the formatted post to your clipboard
Paste the copied text into the content creator to schedule, save as draft, or publish.
