How to Manage Data and Privacy

Learn how to control your data permissions, LinkedIn data access, and public profile visibility in Reepl

The privacy settings give you granular control over what data Reepl can access from your LinkedIn account, whether to share usage analytics, CRM automation preferences, and what appears on your public profile.

Open privacy settings

Click Settings in the left sidebar, then select Data and Privacy under the User Settings section. You can also go directly to Settings > Privacy in the app.

Configure LinkedIn data access

Under the LinkedIn Data Access section, toggle each permission on or off:

  • Generate ideas from your LinkedIn saved posts -- Lets Reepl analyze saved posts for content inspiration
  • Generate ideas from your published posts -- Uses your post history to suggest new content
  • Generate ideas from your LinkedIn comments -- Analyzes your commenting activity for topic suggestions
  • Read your LinkedIn profile info for personalization -- Allows Reepl to use your profile details for tailored recommendations
  • Analyze your LinkedIn messages -- Lets Reepl review messages to help draft responses

Configure product improvement sharing

Under the Product Improvement section, toggle these options:

  • Share anonymous usage data to help improve Reepl -- Sends anonymized feature usage statistics
  • Allow Reepl to contact you for interviews, surveys, and feature testing -- Opt in to be contacted for product research

Configure CRM automation

CRM auto-create settings require a Pro plan or higher. Free plan users see disabled toggles with an upgrade prompt.

Under the CRM section, control automatic contact creation:

  • Auto-create contacts when commenting on posts -- Adds people to your CRM when you comment on their posts
  • Auto-create contacts when sending messages -- Adds people to your CRM when you message them

Configure public profile visibility

Under the Public Profile section, toggle whether to show your published LinkedIn posts on your public profile page. Anyone with your public profile link can see this content when enabled.

Your privacy settings save automatically when you toggle any switch.
