How to Use ICP Matching
Learn how to match LinkedIn profiles against your Ideal Customer Profile using Reepl
ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) matching analyzes LinkedIn profiles against criteria you define to determine how well a prospect fits your target audience. You can run ICP matching from the Chrome extension on individual profiles, or generate ICP analysis for an entire contact list in the web app.
The Chrome extension must be installed to use ICP matching on LinkedIn profiles. A Pro or Premium plan is required. Each profile analysis costs 10 credits.
Matching a profile from the extension
Navigate to a LinkedIn profile
Open any LinkedIn profile page in Chrome with the Reepl extension installed.
Open ICP Finder
Click the Reepl extension icon to open the sidebar, then select the ICP Finder tab.
Select your ICP
Choose an existing ICP from the dropdown list. If you haven't created one yet, click Create ICP to define your ideal customer criteria first.
Run the match
Click Match ICP to analyze the profile. The results show an ICP FIT ANALYSIS with matching attributes, missing attributes, and an overall fit score.
Generating ICP for a contact list
Open your lists
Navigate to Contact Lists in the left sidebar.
Run ICP generation
Find the list you want to analyze and either click the refresh icon on the list row, or open the actions dropdown and select Generate ICP.
Review results
The system analyzes all contacts in the list. Once complete, the ICP Status column updates to reflect the analysis results.
The ICP analysis considers attributes like job title, industry, company size, location, and seniority to calculate a fit score for each profile.
