How to Build LinkedIn Sales Navigator Searches

The LinkedIn Sales Navigator Boolean Builder generates optimized search URLs for finding prospects on LinkedIn and Sales Navigator. Describe your ideal prospect in plain language or use advanced filters to build a precise query, then open the generated URL directly in LinkedIn.
Open the Sales Navigator tool
Navigate to Creation Tools > LinkedIn Sales Navigator from the left sidebar, or go directly to Sales Navigator in the app.
Choose a search mode
Select one of the two tabs at the top:
Type a plain-English description of the prospects you want to find. For example: "Sales managers at SaaS companies in London with 5+ years of experience."
Click Generate to create the search string.
Fill in the structured filter fields:
- Search Type -- People or Companies
- First Name / Last Name -- Target specific names
- Title -- Job title keywords
- Company -- Company name
- School -- Education institution
- Connection Degree -- 1st, 2nd, or 3rd degree connections
- Company Size -- Employee count ranges
- Industry -- Select from industry options
- Profile Language -- Filter by language
- Actively Hiring -- Filter for companies that are hiring
Click Generate to build the search URL.
Use the generated search URLs
The tool generates two URLs:
- LinkedIn URL -- Opens a standard LinkedIn search with your filters applied
- Sales Navigator URL -- Opens the same search in LinkedIn Sales Navigator (requires a Sales Navigator subscription)
Click Copy to copy a URL to your clipboard, or click Open to launch the search directly in a new tab.
The generated URLs encode your filters as LinkedIn query parameters, so the search results appear instantly when you open them -- no need to re-enter criteria manually.
