How to Roast a LinkedIn Profile
Learn how to use the Profile Roaster to get a humorous yet constructive review of any LinkedIn profile in Reepl
The Profile Roaster generates a witty, humorous take on any LinkedIn profile while still delivering constructive feedback. It evaluates the same five dimensions as the Profile Analyzer but presents the results with personality, humor, and shareable entertainment value.
The Profile Roaster requires a Pro plan or higher. Free plan users see a gate message prompting them to upgrade.
Open the Profile Roaster
Navigate to Creation Tools > Profile Roaster from the left sidebar, or go directly to Profile Roaster in the app.
Enter a LinkedIn profile URL
Paste the target profile URL into the LinkedIn Profile URL field.
Select an output language
Choose from the Language dropdown. Seven languages are available: English, French, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, and Chinese (Mandarin).
Generate the roast
Click the Roast button (orange gradient with fire icon). The loading state reads "Spicing things up..." while the roast is generated.
View the results
A card titled "Your LinkedIn Profile Roast is Ready!" appears with the description "We've gone through your profile, and it's... an experience." Click "Unlock Full Roast (100% Free)" to open the results.
The results page includes seven sections:
- Roast Temperature -- An overall score displayed as a pie chart with an orange/red gradient, plus a 5-category breakdown and an animated GIF.
- Profile Roast -- A witty tagline, humorous summary paragraph, and a Personality Type box.
- Strengths -- 2-4 positive observations on green cards.
- Weaknesses -- 2-4 areas for improvement on red cards.
- Skill Analysis -- A grid of colored cards evaluating key skills.
- Career Journey -- A vertical timeline with an orange-to-red gradient connector.
- Improvement Recommendations -- Specific suggestions listing the section, the issue, and the recommended improvement.
The tone is humorous yet constructive -- designed to be entertaining and shareable while still providing genuine value.
