How to Build Job Search Boolean Queries

The Job Search Boolean Builder creates optimized LinkedIn job search URLs from a plain-English description or structured filters. It helps you find relevant job opportunities faster by encoding your criteria into a ready-to-use LinkedIn search link.
Open the Job Search Boolean Builder
Navigate to Creation Tools > Job Search Boolean Builder from the left sidebar, or go directly to Job Search Boolean Builder in the app.
Choose a search mode
Select one of the two tabs at the top:
Describe the job you are looking for in plain English. For example: "Remote product manager roles at fintech startups."
Click Generate to create the search URL.
Use structured fields to define your job search criteria:
- Keywords -- Add include/exclude keyword entries (comma-separated)
- Job Titles -- Select target job titles
- Job Functions -- Filter by function area
- Location -- Enter a geographic location
- Industries -- Select one or more industries
- Remote -- On-site, Remote, or Hybrid
- Job Type -- Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship
- Experience Level -- Entry, Associate, Mid-Senior, Director, Executive
- Sort By -- Most recent or Most relevant
- Salary -- Minimum salary range
- Date Posted -- Past 24 hours, week, or month
- Benefits -- Filter by specific benefits
- Easy Apply Jobs Only toggle
- Under 10 Applicants Only toggle
- In Your Network toggle
Click Generate to build the search URL.
Open the results in LinkedIn
The tool generates a LinkedIn job search URL with all your filters encoded. Click Copy to copy the URL, or click Open to launch the search in LinkedIn in a new tab.
The generated URL applies your filters directly in LinkedIn's job search interface, so results are ready to browse immediately.
