How to Create a LinkedIn Banner

Open the Banner Generator

Navigate to Creation Tools > Banner Generator from the left sidebar, or go directly to Banner Generator in the app.

Add text elements

Use the Text section in the editor toolbar to add elements to your banner:

• Add Heading -- Large text for your main message
• Add Subheading -- Medium text for supporting copy
• Add Textbox -- General-purpose text block

Select any text element to access the formatting toolbar: Bold, Italic, Underline, Linethrough, text alignment (left, center, right, justify), Color, Background, Font Size, and Stroke.

Add media

Use the Media section to add visuals:

• Upload Image -- Add a photo, logo, or graphic
• Upload Background -- Set a full-canvas background image

Add shapes

Use the Shapes section to add design elements: Square, Rectangle, Circle, Triangle, Line, or Dashed Line.

Arrange layers

Use the layer management controls to arrange overlapping elements:

• Bring Forward / Send Backward -- Move one layer at a time
• Bring to Front / Send to Back -- Move to the top or bottom of the stack

Additional object controls include Duplicate, Lock/Unlock, Group/Ungroup, Delete, and an Opacity slider.

Preview on a LinkedIn profile

The editor shows a LinkedIn Preview mockup displaying your banner on a simulated profile with your name, headline, location, and connection count. Use this to check how the banner looks in context.

Download the banner

Export your finished banner as a PNG or JPG file. The output is sized at 1500x500px, ready to upload directly to your LinkedIn profile.
