How to Create LinkedIn Carousels
Learn how to generate, customize, and publish carousel posts using Reepl's Carousel Generator
The Carousel Generator lets you create multi-slide carousel posts for LinkedIn. You can generate slides from a topic, YouTube video, article, or PDF, then customize the theme, add your branding, and publish or download the result.
The Carousel Generator is a Pro plan feature. A connected LinkedIn account is required to post or schedule carousels directly.
Open the Carousel Generator
Navigate to Creation Tools > Carousel Generator from the left sidebar, or go directly to Carousel Generator in the app.
Choose an input source
Enter content to generate your slides from:
- Topics -- Type a topic or description
- YouTube URL -- Paste a YouTube video link
- Article URL -- Paste a web article link
- PDF upload -- Upload a PDF document
Generate slides
Click Generate. The AI creates a set of slides (5--40) based on your input. Each slide has a Title and Content field.
Edit slide content
Switch to the Content tab to edit individual slides. You can:
- Edit the title and content text on each slide
- Drag slides to reorder them
- Clone a slide to duplicate it
- Delete slides you do not need
Add your user info
Switch to the User tab to add your branding:
- Enter your Name and Designation/Bio
- Upload a Headshot image
- Click Add headshot to all frames to apply it across every slide, or use Apply to This Frame for individual slides
Customize the theme
Switch to the Theme tab to style your carousel:
- Select a preset from the Select Theme dropdown
- Browse Background Templates and Graphic Elements
- Upload a Custom Background image
- Adjust Primary, Secondary, and Background colors
- Use Remove Background to strip the background entirely
Preview and publish
Switch to the Preview tab to see the final result. Then choose an action:
- Post to LinkedIn -- Publish the carousel immediately
- Schedule to LinkedIn -- Pick a date and time for future publishing
- Download -- Export as PDF or PNG images
- Reset -- Clear everything and start over
Your carousel is now published, scheduled, or saved to your device depending on the action you chose.
